2-Position Title: AV Technician – Museum
Role Purpose:
The AV Technician will work closely with the Head of Digital to ensure all audio-visual and digital systems in the museum are running smoothly. This includes daily checks, maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting upgrades to keep all exhibits working at the highest quality. Experience with Watchout blending v4 is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Open and close the museum’s AV and interactive systems every day, making sure they are ready before visitors arrive and properly shut down after closing.
- Check all screens, projectors, and displays to ensure the right content is playing.
- Conduct regular checks (every 2 hours) to make sure everything is running without problems.
- Spot and fix technical or safety issues quickly to keep the visitor experience smooth.

Good knowledge of fibre optics for digital video and USB transmission.
